Pride and Prejudice, adapted by Jon Jory, is a play adaptation of Jane Austen’s Regency era-set romance novel. Pride and Prejudice explores the importance of marrying for love at a time when society is pressuring young women to find profitable suitors. The story follows Mr. Bennet and his five unmarried daughters, focusing specifically on Elizabeth as she and the wealthy Mr. Darcy navigate their attraction. The play will run at the Shaw Mansion in downtown New London from May 11th to May 26th.

Flock Theatre is internationally renowned for their intimate, small-audience theatre presentations, known for their monumental production of Long Day’s Journey Into Night in the Monte Cristo Cottage. The Shaw Mansion's beautiful antiquity naturally sets Pride and Prejudice in the Regency Era, providing the small audience with a sense of immersion as the actors seamlessly transfer from scene to scene around them.
