A young man is held captive in a room where nothing is what it seems or what he’s told it is. Two characters known as the Usher and the Functionary are keen to have him confess something and yet insist he is free to go. An allegorical play, ripe for our times, by a lauded Argentine playwright whose work concerned events in her country’s political and military turmoil in the 70’s-80’s.
